*april/may 2009*

well what an interesting couple weeks it has been around the house. first britt fell down the stairs at school and was rushed to the er thankfully she only had a sprained ankle and knee along with a few minor scrapes. well then the following week after we had dinner mom rushed dad to the er with chest pains. well............ he was admitted that night with out knowing if he had had a heart attack or not...........thankfully after a few tests he did not have a heart attack... well saturday morning they gave him a stress test and found that he had a blockage of some kind..so that ment he had to have another test done to see where the blockage was. they inserted a dye in his artery through his femoral artery in his groin, the doctors did find a blockage but said that his heart pretty much healed itself making new tributaries to get the blood back to the heart. so this means he did not need any surgery of any kind. today is the first thrusday in 2 weeks that i have not been to the hospital and im hoping to keep it that way. dad got to come home on monday and has been taking it easy and getting plenty of rest and britt is walking with out her cast and with out the crutches and seems to be doing well. as for mom and i we are both healthy, mom is busy with work and im busy with keeping things at the pool in order and keeping up on my classes.

*winter term is over*

well last night was my final night for my winter term. i am so thankful it is finally over. my classes this term were not particularly hard, just really got off to a bad start and then never could get in to wanting to do my work. it seems i have procrastinated so much this term i am very amazed that i ended up with 2 a's and 1 b. i am very proud of myself actually:) mom and dad finished up their final term last night as well. i am so proud of both my parents for going back to school and getting their associates degrees i admire all their hard work and dedication to life, school, work, and supporting all of us kids in everything we do. well tuesay march 31 i started going back to the pool and what an amazing week it has been. i am already getting a burn, thankfully it doesnt hurt, i just need to remember the sun screen for my face. i am certainly looking forward to the many more weeks of going to the pool i have, i really just wish that it wasnt 90 degrees all the time, but i guess thats what makes it the perfect pool weather. since i have next week off from school i have decided its time i start my flower garden. so i will be spending my days outside pulling weeds and getting everything ready so i can start and hopefully soon i will be able to enjoy the beautiful colors that spring and summer will have to offer.

*summer is finally here*

after months of going from hot to cold to freezing i think summer is finally here to stay! it has been in the 80's and 90's for the last week which is always nice! im enjoying the last few weeks i have free before i start hanging out at the pool every day! im excited to be swimming daily, getting a tan earlier in the year and keeping it longer! along with being able to swim every day as long as id like i've decided to add yoga into my daily activities! let me tell ya it looks easy but what a work out! i get to work muslces i havent worked in a while and i'll be only way to leaner stronger muscles! im pretty excited about it. school has been going okay, this term got off to a bad start i was sick in the beginning and moving on top of that so getting started was a challenge and it seems to have lasted this whole term. my grades are still high but of course not as high as they could be. i have four weeks left of this term thankfully. mom and dad are finishing up their associates degrees they both finish in april. mom has decided to take some time off and get things under control with her job since she has been promoted to manager she hasnt put as much focus on her duties there. dad is looking into going for a bachelors degree, he is not sure what he wants to do though sounds like he is considering accounting. if he decides to do accounting he might have a job with me once i get settled into my massage business ;) britt is doing great, she just got her new glasses and loves them. she sure is growing up way to fast! she will be 18 this year and a senior next year holy cow where has the time gone. i remember when she was just a little girl and crawling into my bed scared or sick :( now she is almost all grown up and looking at colleges! makes me want to cry. well chris was doing good with a great job working on the railroad but seems to have quit that job so now he is looking at working for a sprinkler shop in rupert. im not sure what goes through his head sometimes. all in all id say everyone is keeping busy and doing great!

*5 am questions*

okay so as i was laying there wishing i could just fall back to sleep the news came on and of course they were talking about all the things going on around here and things going on in the nation. for instance they were talking about CALIFORNIA and the possibility that they may be putting IOU's in the residents tax returns this year, first this made me laugh i can only imagine what the many resdients of california would look like and what they would be saying when they recieve an IOU in the mail rather than the money they were expecting, of course i also felt bad that our nation as come to giving out IOU's. well the next headline was talking about the automobile bailout, well of course its not just out banks and our automobible companies that want a bailout, NOW the PORN industry is asking for a bailout. LORD help us all if they receieve the bailout when there a millions with out jobs and homes not to mention CALIFORNIA is talking out sending out IOU's i can certainly think of better things to do that bail out the PORN industry. ok so here is where the first qusestion came about: if our government has the ability to just make money why is it we have such a problem? you would think they would just make some money. now im sure all you smart blog readers will have an answer and im sure its a good one not to mention you all think im crazy for asking the question, but keep in mind its a question that came to me at 5 am and id only had less than 4 hours of sleep! well the new continues on and after a while they talk about the gentlemen that on DEC 24, 2008 right here in AUBURNDALE, FLORIDA recently won the lottery. of course he and another in BOCA RATON also won, but the 51 year old gentlemen in AUBURNDALE is taking home a ONE LUMP SUM OF.......................$13.1 MILLION DOLLARS!!!!!!!!!!! here is where the next question came around. here we have a nation who is struggling again i mention the IOU for california residents: how is it we can be so broke our automobile companies, and our banks need a finacial bailout, BUT the LOTTO company can afford to give away MILLIONS of DOLLARS? each of the 50 states have a LOTTO and many of them run in the MILLIONS. does any of this make sense to any one else? again im sure you smart bloggers have a good answer and maybe its best i just sleep at 5 am rather than listening to the news and start asking all these questions.
